DearAll, 

On behalf of everyone on the AhlulBayt Islamic Society committee we would like to extend our gratitude for all the support and committment our members have shown. This society started up very small, and its amazing how much it has grown and we hope that it will continue to flourish by the grace of Allah swt and with your ongoing help and encouragement.
 
The City University Student Union Awards Ceremony took place two weeks ago and we were very pleased to have been awarded a Society Colours Prize which is an award for outstanding contribution and committment to the University. The AhlulBayt Society also won a joint award with the Christian, Jewish and Hindu Societies for the Event of the Year for the interfaith- United Against Violence event. Additionally we were among the top three nominees for Society of the Year and for the society that best collaborates with other societies! :)
 
We have now elected the committee for 2010-2011! Please see below for the new and some continuing members of our committee! If anyone else wants to get involved, please let us know! We would love to have you onboard in any way you can! So if you're interested..get in touch!:)
